Another circuit takes you to the beautiful village of Flamarens with its 13th century château, which may be visited although it is still undergoing restoration. The walk then crosses a small wood and continues through a valley. On the way you can admire the charming village of St. Antoine, where you can take a coffee or maybe lunch at the bar-restaurant. From here you continue on the Compostella route through swathes of countryside unspoilt by any modern features. ; you could believe you are still in the 19th century. (Distance 7½ miles, elevation from 265 to 670 feet.)
